Another primo RECORD OF THE WEEK blog for your Cinco De Mayo!
It’s very rare that a band calls it quits in the middle of a group’s commercial peak but El Paso, TX’s AT THE DRIVE IN did just that back in 2001, in the midst of supporting their breakthrough album “Relationship Of Command.” 17 years later, the band announced a new album, “in•ter•al•ia,” on rock powerhouse RISE RECORDS and fans and critics alike are praising the band’s latest work and it’s easy to hear why! This pressing spans 8 different versions with a gorgeous picture disc and several variations of Half-n-Half with splatter! Grab one today before these are all gone!

Hailing from Borås, Sweden’s ‘City of Rain’ and formed in 2015 out of the ashes of adrift stoner rock band Creedsman Arise, VOKONIS will release their follow up to last year’s critically acclaimed “Olde One Ascending” this June on the Californian label RIPPLE MUSIC. In anticipation of this, you can grab a 7” featuring the lead off track, “The Sunken Djinn” and a non-album B side now!!!
JANK formed in 2015, from the ashes of Downingtown emo duo Panucci’s Pizza which broke up in 2015. Ex-Panucci’s Pizza frontman Matt Diamond decided to start a band containing tongue in cheek lyrics, a departure from their emotionally sincere lyricism displayed with Panucci’s Pizza. Spawned in the bowels of the Kensington, Philadelphia basement DIY scene, they released their first full-length album in November of the same year. Here with their third LP, “Versace Summer” on CREEP RECORDS, you better hurry if you want to get one of those limited edition “Halloween Orange” inside “Coke Bottle” versions!
Bulletbelt are from Wellington, New Zealand and formed in 2009.
