For the first time in more than five years, the SWINGIN’ UTTERS are back with a new record! Of course coming to you via FAT WRECK CHORDS, Recorded at Nu-Tune Studios in Pittsburg, California, this past March, the album is titled “Peace And Love”, but don’t let that fool you: This isn’t some Haight and Ashbury hippie shit. In fact, according to guitarist/vocalist Darius Koski, “Peace And Love’s” content is as politically outspoken as the Utters have ever been.… And ready yourself, THE UTTERS tour machine starts up again with a ton of dates throughout North America right now !
Started in 2010 in Nashville, Tennesse, YAUTJA has strived to create unique songs that are both aggressive and dissonant while still maintaining elements of more traditional musicality. They have done several North American tours over the past 8 years as well as releasing a handful of splits and demos, 1 full length LP, and two 12” EPs. “Songs of Lament” is the second release from the band through FORCEFIELD RECORDS; an “EP” that is actually more of a full length release.
The name APE MACHINE is a nod to the days of reel-to-reel magnetic tape audio recording; a fitting moniker for the heavy-hitting quartet as the band plays through vintage tube amplifiers and lays down its songs using exclusively throwback quality studio equipment. Ape Machine, is releasing its new LP, “Darker Seas” via RIPPLE MUSIC. The group’s fifth and latest album is described by the band as “heavier and more progressive than previous records but also more structured and cinematic.” Head over to the house of heavy, RIPPLE RECORDS, and grab one today!
