DRAINER is a band from San Francisco, CA and Melbourne, Florida. They were started by Vincent Flores and Joe Putnam in the Spring of 2018 after their previous band, Double Skeleton, called it a day. They were later joined by Vincent’s brother and Florida resident, Jon David, on drums. Their live band is rounded out by Daniel Becker of the Bay Area hardcore band George Crustanza and pop punk outfit Throwing Rocks on bass. They play indie/punk rock influenced by grunge, power pop and shoegaze. You can grab ‘Dirty World’ direct from their bandcamp page!
BLANKENBERGE is a shoegaze/dream pop band based in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. The band came together in 2015 to create dream-weaving and warm reverb-drenched, drone raging songs that swell into soaring ethereal harmonies. Nostalgia, longing and hope has seldom sounded this alluring. Feeling lost has never sounded this liberating with Yana’s swooning, soft vocals serenely ascending and sweeping the skies, unveiling an afterglow, lacing emotion through a blazing, hazy swirl of loud droning guitars that swell and subside in an all-embracing ocean of sound. “Radiogaze” was release by ELUSIVE SOUND and immediately sold out! Keep an eye out for the second pressing!

Formed in 2011, BENT KNEE met while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. Their second album, “Respire” is is now available again!. Having toured relentlessly for the last 7 years, doing a number of headlining tours and opening for bands like Dillinger Escape Plan, Thank You Scientist, Haken and Leprous. The album is all about contrast. Bombastic dynamic shifts, rapid changes in texture and constant alternation between emotions. We really went to town with the instrumentation on this album, recording things as diverse as harpsichord, church organ, berimbau and a string quartet. Currently out on tour, they flipped their van a little more than a week ago in a Wyoming snow storm! Everyone was OK, but their beloved van was destroyed. Currently continuing the tour in a rented minivan, with the headliners generously transporting our gear/merch in their trailer – remember what musicians do to bring you live music!!!
Stay warm out there and we’ll see you next week!
