The first honorable mention this time around is a MASSIVE new Double LP release from EARTH entitled ‘Primitive and Deadly’, courtesy of SOUTHERN LORD Records! The ‘Halloween Orange’ in ‘Red(ish)’ color-in-color vinyl looks incredible, as does the ‘Bronze’ and ‘Grimace Purple’ – in -‘Royal Blue’ color-in-color configuration! If that wasn’t enough, the release features a beastly gatefold jacket with Spot PMS printing and an Obi-Strip that wraps around the jacket- Nice!!

THE MYLENE SHEATH is always reliable for an aesthetically pleasing release, and their latest from MINOT is no exception! I can’t tell if the ‘Orange Crush’ with Black Splatter or the ‘Orange Crush’ -in- ‘Piss Yellow’ Color-in-Color is cooler, but they are both gorgeous! Those heavyweight semi-gloss jackets were a nice touch as well!
