SPYLACOPA was formed as a studio project in 2000, by John LaMacchia. With an ever changing cast of collaborators, SPYLACOPA has featured Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan, vocalist Julie Christmas and Jeff Caxide of Isis and palms, among many others. – In 2008 SPYLACOPA released a self titled EP. It would be the first substantial collection of material released by the project and the very first release on John LaMacchia’s record label, RISING PULSE RECORDS. Now, in 2017, the self titled EP has been re-titled “Spylacopa Redux” and pressed to deluxe colored vinyl. It includes extended and alternate mixes, a bonus track, not available on the original CD release, revised artwork and has been fully remastered.
“Black Diamonds” is the debut EP of American metalcore act ISSUES. Released on notable rock label RISE RECORDS back in 2012, this EP immediately propelled the band into the top tier of hard rock and metalcore acts. This repress shows off gorgeous BLACK in ULTRA CLEAR Half-N-Half and Color-In-Color variants – get one from RISE RECORDS today!
DANCE GAVIN DANCE’s legacy is in part due to its ability to create masterful records with several different frontmen over the course of their continuing career. “Happiness,” originally released back in 2009 on RISE RECORDS, was the last record with Kurt Travis, one of the talented vocalists to front the band over its 10+ years. The band embraces a much more experimental and math-infused rock as compared to its heavier preceding releases. This repress has beautiful WHITE & “HIGHLIGHTER YELLOW” Half-N-Half and ULTRA CLEAR & “HIGHLIGHTER YELLOW” with BLACK SPLATTER Half-N-Half vinyl for you to marvel over!
On this month’s TURNTABLE KITCH pairings you’ll find BATTS – the project of Melbourne based Tanya Batt. As with every TURNTABLE KITCHEN offering, the deluxe packages feature the more limited vinyl color so better to subscribe now than be sorry later…
OLD MAN’S CHILD is a Norwegian black metal band from the city of Oslo. The band is the brainchild of Galder (formerly known as Grusom; birth name: Thomas Rune Andersen) who is the only permanent member of the band now. In 1996, after they released their first full-length album “Born of the Flickering”, they signed to Century Media. After release of “The Pagan Prosperity” and “Ill-Natured Spiritual Invasion” through Century Media, the band went on one of their rare tours. OLD MAN’S CHILD have rarely toured because of the constant line-up changes over the years. Of course, THE CRYPT dug deep and hard to bring this back into pressing!
