YOUNG CREATURES, alternately known as “the Creetch”, make surreal, ethereal music that combines elements of shoegaze, psychedelic rock, indie, and pop. This Los Angeles quartet toe the line between blissful dreamy pop and dark, eerie soundscapes. “The Future is Finally Now” builds upon their foundation and expanded upon it with a more diverse set of songs that showcased more elaborate arrangements and a more sonically exploratory aesthetic. Side A is a song in the style of music from The Future Is Finally Now and Side B is a new direction of music that incorporates multi-instrumentalist with Violin, Cello, and bongos by other musicians not in the band. THOSE POOR BASTARDS crawl from the muck to deliver their ninth full-length album of lo-fi country doom! “Inhuman Nature” finds Lonesome Wyatt and The Minister performing an unflinching autopsy into the fathomless evil of the monster called man. Hints of early rock ’n’ roll and punk seep into the murky cracks of their sound to create a sinister hybrid of uneasy listening. Let the suffering begin! “Inhuman Nature” will be available on 3 different colors of limited edition vinyl, picture disc as well as CD, cassette and digital download!

The “Best of Pink Floyd” is MAGNETIC EYE’S companion release to the massive “The Wall [Redux]” project. For both albums, the label rounded up a cross section of new and notable artists from across the heavy/stoner/doom/riff-rock landscape to pay homage to the iconic music of Pink Floyd while also making a subtle statement about the alienation and divisiveness present in our society today. For “The Best of Pink Floyd”, artists including Ruby the Hatchet, Year of the Cobra, Howling Giant, Red Mesa, Domkraft and Creepers (feat. members of Deafheaven) all appeared to put their massive stamp on classic Floyd tunes from throughout the classic and varied catalog, comprising music from the Syd Barrett era all through (of course) key moments from Dark Side of the Moon.

CHUNKSAAH went into the archives to repress the ever popular THE BOUNCING SOULS / THE MENZINGERS split 7”, which is now part of an insane bundle featuring a flag, a tee or longsleeve shirt, and the split 7”! Now with updated artwork which complements the ‘BLOOD RED’ and ‘BLOOD RED’ w/ WHITE SPLATTER vinyl, this is a must have for any collector or fan of these bands. Featuring one original song from each band and a cover of each other’s track, it would not be “shocking” that these don’t last long, especially around the holiday season. This would make the perfect stocking stuffer for any east coast punk fan in your life!

“Destroy All That Tradition” is a compilation of 25 Reno bands all covering songs from Reno’s most famous band, 7Seconds. The project was recorded over 3 days in March of 2018 at the Sound Saloon in Reno. Once the bands picked their songs they had about a month to rehearse them, then they were all given one hour of studio time to record the music and one hour to record the vocals. What happened was more than a break-neck pace recording stunt, it was a true joining of musicians and celebration of community that we talk about when we say “punk community.” Everyone brought their best game and stuck around to help their friends, sing backup vocals, tune guitars, share food, have laughs, and really live the camaraderie that punk rock can bring us when it’s at its best. The album is available digitally and on 2xLP. Kevin Seconds and the band 7Seconds have given their blessing and are very much supportive of the record. All proceeds from the sale of the record go to The Holland Project, Reno’s all-ages arts and music initiative!
