Let’s be honest. TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET has always been rad. Formed in Wyoming in 2000, they were rad when they released their debut album, “Another Way”, in 2003 and almost two decades – as the title of this eighth studio album suggests – they remain just as rad. “Stay Rad!” features 14 short, snappy and stylish punk songs are centered around the songwriting chops of guitarists/vocalists Ray Carlisle and Kody Templeman (who also fronts The Lillingtons) and overflow with TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET’S typical mix of humor and poignancy, silliness and melancholy. But it’s also the first album of original material that the band – completed by bassist Miguel Chen and drummer Darren Chewka – made following the death of former drummer and Ray’s twin brother Brandon in 2015. And in keeping with its title, it finds the band channeling the same riotous energy it had at the start. Its members might be older now, some married and with kids, but when it comes to writing songs together as TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET, absolutely nothing has changed. Get yours now at FAT WRECK CHORDS!!!

HAIL THE SUN formed in 2009 when all members were attending Chico State. The band built up a DIY fanbase over the last decade. First the band signed to Blue Swan Records out of Sacramento then signed to EQUAL VISION RECORDS. The band has toured extensively over the last 5 years including supporting such artists as Circa Survive, Silverstein, CHON, The Fall Of Troy and Polyphia among many others including Vans Warped Tour in 2016 and 2018. “Elephantitis” was originally released in 2012, but is now available on vinyl for the first time! CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC and their label KINDA LIKE MUSIC formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2013. Both are true DIY with the band melding Heavy riff-dominated Instrumental Stoner Rock with Post-Doom Metal. “Evil Eye”, the new record, is the bands fifth full-length release in its 5 years of existence and is the first of two CTS records coming out this year. Each song is divided into 3 parts and explores the worlds of Lesser and Greater Magic which were inspired by The Theory and Practice of Satanic Magic which is part of The Satanic Bible. Lesser Magic (Evil Eye) “consists of the wile and guile obtained through various devices and contrived situations, which when utilized can create change in accordance with one’s will.” Greater Magic (Pagan Worship), also known as Ritual Magic, “consists of the performance of a formal ceremony, taking place, at least in part, within the confines of an area set aside for such purposes and at a specific time.” Their next album comes out this Halloween!

CLOWNS are a hardcore punk band from Melbourne, Australia. After nine busy years of touring the world stage over, the band bring it\’s forth studio album \’Nature/Nurture\’, the debut release from the band\’s very own record label DAMAGED RECORD CO. “Nature/Nurture” swings right and left abruptly and unexpectedly, veering frantically between punk, psych, hardcore, rock and more. It’s 11 songs recorded through St Kilda’s Hot House Studios world famous Neve 1073 EQ desk, the very same desk responsible for AC/ DC’s 1976 record Dirty Deeds among many, many more classic Australian hit records. It’s 35 minutes of pure Australian punk precision, seamlessly transgressing genres and artistically defiant. It’s heavy, but it’s soft. It’s passionate, but it’s light hearted. It’s got an important point but it’s a party. It’s a concept of the ever continuing and ever so relevant debate of nature vs nurture. It is (as we all are) an amalgamation of nature and nurture, captured and conceptualised into a record of opposing elements, laden with hidden messages and juxtapositions, then rolled into one kick-arse, fast paced, heart pumping package to boot.

WOLF & BEAR started out in 2015 with the release of “Oil Cup.” After line up changes the band released the song “Sight” and signed to BLUE SWAN RECORDS to release their debut “Everything Is Going Grey”. The full album will be an introduction to the band showcasing R&B roots vocally as well as hardcore and punk influences tracks. WOLF & BEAR will be playing SWANFEST this weekend in Anaheim with Dance Gavin Dance and many others.
